It was confirmed to be true.
DSi will have two cameras, SD slot, bigger screen, built-in internet browser, music playback, and DSWare (download new original titles from your wii).

It's smaller than the DS lite because it doesn't have a GBA port.

How dare they eliminate backwards compatibility. That means they're losing out on the same millions of sales the PS3 is losing because of BC. Or at least so it should seem.

That is true.

I was actually considering a DS (FF1,2,4,5,6 are on GBA - 3 on DS) but now there is absolutely no point - unless they continue making the DS lite. They are amking the same mistake Sony have done - the casual gamers wont care though - thats all that matters to Nintendo. The once awesome Nintendo from the 80's and 90's is now dead.
