3) Finish the game with whoever, it doesn't matter a lot. My Luxray has a Careful nature (+SpDf, -Atk, worst nature you could get for a Luxray). You can always breed those Pokemon and start anew with better natures, EVs, ect.
1) That's what I said. I told them I'd start when it's a Charizard >.>

2) I see. So no matter if I start at lv26 or lv60...it's still gonna learn the same EVs. So I could techincally give berries at lv60 and start from there and probably end at lv70 when I'm done EV training. Nothing wrong with that, right?

3) Yea, but my Pokemon are the perfect natures o.O
I don't wanna waste time by beating the game with Pokemon and then starting a whole new team [again]. Too much of a hassle :|
I guess I'll beat it with my Trainer Card team, then give them all berries, then start EV Training.

You could consider Magnezone to counter Water types, which is Steel/Electric.

I don't know... Maybe.

I'm getting Magnezone though, he looks bad-ass.

1/2. The thing is EVs aren't just automatically added to your stats when you train them. You have to level up a bunch of times to get the effects, and the higher-level Pokemon, the longer it'll take to level it up. Unless you use Rare Candies, but they're few and far between.

3. Noooooo, don't use a serious team to finish the game, because as stated previously, if they finish at level 65-something, they'll take a looong time to level up and receive the effects.

Can't you just kill like 39Pokemon to receive the 252 EVs at lv60, then when you get to lv61, they'll all add up?

If not then I'll just use my old bleh team, and start with Trainer Card team after I finish. Gengar + Torterra excluded, because they're already lv50 :[

Once you have the 252 EVs, that's all you need. But the actual effects of the EVs aren't fully noticeable until your Pokémon reaches level 100, or in a level 100 cap battle. You'll see a large increase in the stat when you level from level 60 to 61, but you won't get the full 63 stat increase after one level up.

So it takes more than 1lvl up to see the desired effect. How about...if I gain the 252 EVs at level 60, then I keep leveling up to about 70. Wouldn't that keep giving me the extra EVs I missed per lvl up?

I don't think so really. Though, it isn't a problem anyway. Once you've gotten your EVs and your moveset sorted, you don't have to bother about leveling the Pokémon up anyway, as the game will automatically set them to level 100 and increase their stats accordingly.
