I'd definitely like to. And not sure. It may just be best to wait a while and give everyone the chance to get into the end game. As for the rules, I guess we'd sort that out then. (Like what, if any, legendaries would be permitted.)

Wound up working on just restructuring my team mostly tonight and less actual playing. That being said, 11 to go for my regional pokedex.

I'm getting hyped too but I attribute this to mere Pokémon fever.. I will be listening like a hawk for whatever will allow you to officially snag the promotional legendary Pokémon. Especially since it's easily going to be a pre-order bonus with that game..

I've already sworn I would avoid worrying about that. Quite frankly it's the only way my obsessive compulsive brain can approach the game. There are just too damn many. And many that you can't get without promotions or cheating. And I will not be cheating.

I won't be cheating either. I damn near every monster from Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, And Ruby/Sapphire. It's just a matter of transferring them over. Since you can only do six a day, I'll be at this for damn near a month or so. Some of the legendaries in Diamond and Pearl rock though. Oh, and for my friend's sake, is there any way to even get a red Gyarados in this game? He's been asking about one.

I foresee a huge trading market in the future where people with the previous versions catch/breed pokemons not present in Diamond/Pearl, transfer them over to their DS game and then trade them via wifi.

Or at least I'd wish some people would do that because it's the only way I'll ever get some of them

I'm officially playing no other games till Odin Sphere comes out. I only wish it supported 6v6

Chibi says you should have them broken off by levels of 20

no poke that 3> or 3< can enter a certain level group(to keep it pretty balanced)
ex. L25 can't enter the lv20 battles, nor the Lv30.

as for legendary pokes
hard to put a limit on them although I have seen a teem of leg. lose to a base team.

I say no more than 2 ubers(mewtwo, groundon, lugia)per team
and no more than 3 legendary(the bird trios and whatnot)
the ubers also count a leg. so for ex.
mewtwo, and zapdos, you can only have one more leg. instead of trying to have a team of 2 ubers and 3 leg. and 1 regular

I never saw this topic! I preordered the games, and I just won Sunnyshore Gym in Pearl. I caught Palkia first turn without a Master Ball.
A legendary pokemon is one that:
1. Only 1 is available in the game
2. Can't evolve
3. Can't breed (with the exception of Manaphy)
