If I rub it on trees do I have a chance of finding a Heracross? Also, do I rub it and wait or rub it, go away for a while, come back and check?

Question: Can I catch a Curselax myself later in the game if I don't get it from you?

EDIT: Nevermind, just found out Curselax is considered a legendary because its tremendous power. It's a snorlax with curse through breeding...
