| When you play in it, your local wireless is turned on so that you're automatically sharing the underground with local players also in it. Basically you dig in the walls for spheres (underground currency), shards (trade for TMs outside), fossils, evoloution stones, and other items. You can also bury spheres to grow them, as to trade one for an item you need one of the required size or bigger. Other players add in the secret base element as well as traps to hinder the other players, and the threat of them digging up your spheres.

| Haven't gotten to try it with anyone else yet. Digging's actually fairly fun at first. Though after spending hours looking for a certain thing it gets rather old..

| Is it a purely local network? So if you lived on a farm, you'd have no point to go to the underground?

| Purely local, though by yourself there's still reason enough to go for fossils, stones, plates, and so on.

| Pretty much. Only two new ones, one for each of course. But after you get the national pokédex you can start finding the old fossil ones down there too.
