Do you still own a GBA?

I sold it 2 years ago. I have 2 versions of gpSP on my PSP and Visual Boy Advance on my computer.

Meh, I have a GameBoy Advance SP, but the games I have for it are either stupid and never should even have been made, or beaten 5 times.
Except Final Fantasy II, which I played all the way to the final boss, that evil emperor guy, and was training my characters to beat him, until my sister got a hold of the cartridge and saved over it.
I was so mad. I lost all hope of finishing it.
I finished FF1, though.

i have 3, and used alot. alot cheaper than buying an extra ds to play mutli player

I got one but the games I got on it are horrible
I ended up just using it to load up pokemon gold after my gameboy colour died (shouldn't have let my little cousin bury it in the sandbox...)

Thats been the problem with handhelds forever... so many bad games to good games... PSP has the same problem as does the DS... the DS more so... Nintendo has thrown quality control out the window.

well I own the DS now and I've found a much wider variety of games on it appeal to me, more so then on the gameboy and psp
but since this topic isn't on a psp/ds debate I'll just leave it at that

thinking back the only games on the GBA that I think I would have really enjoyed were the mario/sonic remakes
I agree that their were alot of bad games on the GBA but I suppose it did serve its purpose...I mean all I would ever use it for was to play in the car.
I mean if I wanted a full blown game I would just play on my console or the pc

as for nintendo and quality...that may have been the issue on the gba but now I see it as an issue of trying out ideas that are not working.
yea I enjoy alot of my ds games but some of them nintendo just butchered
like for the new star fox on ds they turned into a strategey game...sorry but when I play star fox I just want to shoot things...not think about tatics.
the whole star fox franchise has gone down the toilet since the gamecube but again...thats for another topic lol

DS phat doesn't play Gameboy color games though, does it?

I have a GBA that I primarily use for BC Gameboy gaming, because I prefer GBA gaming on the DS Lite because of the better/brighter screen.

no it doesn't
the backlight on the ds is a life saver. I didn't own a gba sp so I had to use one of those addons to provide light...I still can't believe how much extra battery power it sucked up
