5 Million Happy Post Thread Part 2

Since the original thread was apparently killing the server this is the continuation of that thread. If we're ever going to reach 5 million it looks like we'll have to do it in 85,000 post chunks. Here's a link to the original thread in case you want to get caught up.

We need some quick pointless posts to get it going...

I have a couple of games I haven't even opened yet...

I tend not to buy games too quickly so as to avoid that. I still want to get Resistance 2 and Motorstorm 2 but I've got Rock Band 2 and LBP in the last couple of weeks so the other two will have to wait. Plus I'd been wanting to play through GTA4 again but figured I'd wait for trophies, so I've been playing that as well.

Also for some reason I've been feeling like playing Donkey Kong 64 or one of the Banjo Kazooies again.

I replayed Conkers recently. There's something organic, something real about these old N64 games, that I don't see as clearly on their newer consoles.

I never got Conker. I had pretty much moved on to the PS1 by the time it came out and then was never able to find it cheap enough used.

The N64 had some definate classics but at the same time it was the start of Nintendo's downfall that the Gamecube did nothing to fix. The N64 was also nothing when compared to the greatness of the SNES. I guess they really had nowhere to go but down at that point.

Wow. That reminds me that I'm still in the middle of trying to get through that game. If I ever want to get Mario Galaxy I need to get it done.

It's nowhere near the same, but apparently we don't really have any choice. Of course it's not like we'd ever reach 5 million posts anyway. I had considered making this thread a progressive thread with a changing and achievable goal, but decided to keep things the same.
