Exactly. I like having my own idea of what a Zora sounds like.. It would be odd playing Zelda for years and then TP comes out and it's all voice acting. It doesn't bother me, it's not what makes a game good. I tend to get tired of people who bitch that Zelda sucks cause there isn't any voice acting and it's not in HD.. wahhhh....

I think people who want voice acting just don't like sitting down to a game and having to read. I have done it for some time now with FF series and other games. Also with reading it forces you to pay more attention to what is going on and what is being said, a much needed attention when it comes to Zelda.

I also agree with them that we have all got there voices down in our heads at least the people that have played through all the games like me and ThePinkRanger and who ever else might have played through them all, it would be mean to ruin it for us this far into the series.

It also was a choice on there part, I know that Link will never talk because you are him, they don't want to put words in your mouth, just like freeman.

stuff like voice acting goes against exactly what nintendo is about. They r 4 gameplay plain and simple, why else would they create something like the wii. Just like super-ultra-mega-uber-gargantuan-high-def-graphics-that-are-only-seen-on-the-type-of-tv-that-less-than-a-third-of-households-have, voice acting is an element of gaming that is largely superfluous and can be omitted without changing the feel of the game.

This is kinda stupid... I hope if you ever review Halo 3 or any other shooter that you'll say:

Oh well, its just the same point'n'shoot stuff, and I havent played the entire game yet, but I bet you that there is some kind of larger than life boss in the end.

in regards to the lack of voice acting, i thought my wii was malfunctioning because when they would start a conversation, the characters would be grunting or making other weird sounds. i always have wondered why they didn't take the time to add some voice into the game.

I don't agree with his review. I think it was too high.
Also, the way alot of Nintendo\Zelda fanboys posted changed my mind on ever calling Sony fanboys the worst. I know all fanboys act immature, but I've never seen this much immature shit in one thread from one type of fanboy.

Reading this thread made my brain hurt. I don't want to read the whole thing, so was that really the GameSpot guy or what? Cause' after 4 pages I was pretty sure he was fake.
