The ads on our site suck

yeah, i have adblock too, but for some reason just in the last week, the site has been leaving a 1 inch gap at the top of the page where the ad is supposed to be, before that it always took it out completely and didnt even show the space. its kinda annoying actually, but at least i dont have to put up with jock wars

Yeah, I've been having the same issue. Not sure why, I guess I don't really care as long as I don't see ads.

Same here as well, I even see the outline of the ad image appear for less than a second before it just vanishes leaving that 1 inch gap there.

yeah that happened to me for like about a week, and starting today, i even see a black whit/grey space where the add is supposed to be, it really annoying me.

it seems that the more time i spend here, the more things slowly start to go wrong.....

Well first of all, I won the ad network that shows these ads, and second of all, they pay 40% more than the old ads, and with server costs of $588/mo, they are needed.

Disable guest access, and watch the bandwidth costs dive.

Bandwidth isn't a problem, and that isn't really an option as there would go half the site's traffic.
