No, but the following nuclear war will.

isnt creating a stable Black Hole a good thing?

I mean, wouldnt that lend us the possibility to create a "Star Gate" of some kind?

OH GOD YOU ARE STUPID

Remember when we were in the IRC talking about tunnel effects in quantum physics? When you asked how high the probablility was, I even said, "as high as the probability of the LHC killing us all"

To address this and other concerns, CERN performed a study to investigate whether such dangerous events as micro black holes, strangelets, or magnetic monopoles could occur.[10] The report concluded, "We find no basis for any conceivable threat." If black holes are produced, they are expected to evaporate almost immediately via Hawking radiation
As to the other 3 things:

Strange Matter that is stable at zero pressure occurs naturally. Strange Matter that occurs under high pressure occurs naturally in the cores of Neutron Stars.

Proton Decay has never been observed. It also takes 10[sup]35[/sup] years to occur

Stranglets:

Quote:
The general belief is that this would not happen, because most models predict that strangelets, like nuclei, are positively charged, so they are electrostatically repelled by nuclei, and would rarely merge with them.[6] However, the idea has received some media attention [7], [8], and concerns of this type were raised at the commencement of the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) experiment at Brookhaven, which could potentially have created strangelets. A detailed analysis [9] concluded that the RHIC collisions were comparable to ones that naturally occur as cosmic rays traverse the solar system, so we would already have seen such a disaster if it were possible.

Oh, and Vbulletin is the definition of crap because it can't even do sub-script or super-script.

It would be awesome if our world's scientists could stop working on things that might end our existence (Nuclear Weapons & Possible Black Holes) and start working on things that will prolong our lives.
