Marc Crawford at LA, 1 win and 5 losses isn't a great start. I'm not sure how good the Kings were supposed to be though.

I'll tell you one thing though, I wouldn't be all too shocked to see Randy Carlyle hit the road if the Ducks keep this up. One of only 2 teams to play 7 games, and they only have 2 wins and 5 points? Also one of only 6 teams to be 20 or over in Goals Against. For a team that's expected to dominate this is a poor start and management could be looking for scapegoats.

That only happens if Wade Dubielewicz is ready to take over as head coach. Otherwise I really don't see them replacing Nolan yet. Expectations on the Island weren't really that high going into the season.

LA desperately needs a goalie. Looks like they are sending Bernier back to juniors(writing had to be on the wall after giving up 7 against Boston). They'll probably try to bring Cloutier back up, or they really need to swing a trade, or gamble with Curtis Joseph or something.

Gamble? Joseph is a solid goalie IMO. Toronto hasn't had a consistent netminder since the CuJo days. And he did well in Phoenix, he just had no defense. Is he a free agent now?

He's sitting at home waiting for a contract. Expectation is he'll sign on somewhere to be backup. He's a gamble if you're using him as a starter anymore. As a backup, he'd be money well spent.

I think he'd even be able to start. He just hasn't gotten a good chance since his move from Toronto. Give him a year to settle in somewhere on a decent team and he'll shine.

Not many 40 year old goalies are able to shine in a starting role. Unless they have a good team in front of them like Hasek in Detroit.
