| Seeing mention of rumours of a Tanguay for Kovalev trade between Calgary and Montreal. Keenan coached Kovi in NY so I guess he liked him. I personally don't see much huge benefit for either side if this went down. If Kovalev ever decided to give a solid effort every game then maybe. Any thoughts?

| Meh, it's no real big thing. Tanguay isn't playing as good as he could be anymore. Kovalev is hit or miss most of the time. No one would come out on top in this deal.

| I'd say Guy Carbonneau comes out on top, but that's about it.

| Yeah, I don't think it's going to have much effect when it comes to putting points up on the board. The coaches might like it and the locker rooms might benefit assuming the fit in, but neither can offer something the other can't in a broad sense.

| Tanguay has been alot worse since his move to Calgary. Kovalev has so much raw skill but he's really inconsistent. I'd take an inconsistent Kovalev over a sub-par Tanguay though.

| I think I saw that Kovalev is badmouthing the coaching again, so his absence would likely help in Montreal.
