I used to change it a few times (before christmas), but yeah, changing them often is just as annoying.

I try to keep avatars for at least a month. I remember back in the day I had one on for like 6 months... I don't remember what it was. I think it was STARS. I also use my sigs for marking spots to start reading on pages.
