As I have a job, I feel entitled to comment; first is easy, second not so. So you better start worrying right away.
Checklist to achieve maximum gaming time:
- No girlfriend/wife. If you do, get two TV's and a written contract where your gaming needs are specified and accepted.
- No kids. If so, get a third TV. And a nanny. Or a DS.
- A job that doesn't require crunch time/regular overtime.
- Non-gaming friends must be written off. They interfere with gaming time.
- Time consuming hobbies? Keep one; gaming.
Best of luck
Not to be treated too seriously.
