Default Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story

Very, very, very funny.

I saw this last night and it's probably the most I've ever laughed in the cinema.

It has a lot of references to other musical biopics like Walk the Line and Ray and parodies a lot of musical genres and stars and it's very funny.

I was pleased, there was a joke in the film and I think I was the only person in the cinema who actually got it. This made me happy and better than everyone else.

Anyway, I highly suggest going to see it because it's not overly long, but it's consistantly funny.

For every movie that you illegally pirate, some dumb sonuvabitch is going to the theatre and paying for a ticket to see an awful movie.

What's that mean? less perceived demand for quality films and more perceived demand for shit movies.

Support good movies if you like them, is what I'm saying.

As for Dewey Cox Story... it seemed really corny to me from the previews. I'll check it out if I ever come across it on HBO or something, but I don't think I'm gonna go out to see it. I wanna see The Eye next week though.

It is a little bit corny, but it's all very witty.
