Boffo joined in May 2007, that means he's been here over half the time the website's existed. I don't really think Boffo qualifies as a new member but I think he deserves an award for something though.

I can't believe that these guys aren't up for any of the other awards, IMO they are better than most of the people who are actually up for the awards.

Wasn't like there some sort of nomination system before though? I think Boffo's just going by the nominations, and the names on that list are probably people that got some nominations but probably not enough to be on the ballot.

The new member was based upon the time of the last awards, which as far as I've been told was April-ish of last year. If I do the awards next year, the best new member will be based upon all of 2008, so technically it's coming from a smaller period of time than it would in the future.

I used both the previous nominations from momo's thread plus the one's from my thread. All nomination's were included except for the one's from momo's thread that no longer made sense, which was basically removing any banned members from the nominations, and taking vrrroom out of the best banned member category. Anyone else that got nominated was listed on the final ballot.
