You know this has already made the news in some countries, right? They've also already had offline meetings outside Scienetology headquarters in London among other places.

this isn't the 1st time they've made the news, and they still joke about that

Why do you think that because they joke around that they aren't serious about anything? Are you telling me you are void of fun and always serious? Also there's a difference between making the news and making Fox news.

I can understand why you would think that, but it's definitely no joke. Anonymous has already damaged the Church of Scientology a great deal through DDoS attacks on the Scientology website and Google bombing to make the website show up as the first result when "dangerous cult" is searched. Now they're planning a worldwide IRL protest for February 10th.

Anonymous has got this planned out to a greater extent than I ever could have imagined. Their basic aims are to educate the public about Scientology and get rid of their tax-exempt status in order to cripple them financially. I've seen everything from flyers to radio call-ins to donations for Mark Bunker, one of the most prominent anti-Scientology activists, who is raising money to create a documentary exposing the cult's practices.

In short, it's serious business. Only this time, I can use that phrase without a hint of sarcasm.
