Out here in Cali there are tons of police interceptors for sale. I'm almost tempted by them, they're just too cool. It'd have to have cruise control though. Oh did I mention the police fascinate me and I have my criminal justice degree to become a police officer? Probably explains my Crown Vic love. Although to beat the Crown Vic is the Mercury Marauder... Only produced for two years because of terrible sales, it was a sports variant of the panther platform (Crown, Grand Marquis, Town Car platform...). I think it had a 32valve 4.6L V8 with around 300+ HP, thats up from the usual 16valve V8 with about 220 HP... I've seen a Merc Marauder outfitted with a supercharger run sub 12 seconds... Unbelievably fast for the largest car produced in America!

The Tesla roadster looks like a cheap Porsche knockoff.

Besides, Tesla suck: Despite their name, they're moving to Petrol engines next year. And I think they scrapped the Roadster/ made it petrol

Actually they are not a Porsche knock off! Their cars uses the Lotus Elise as a base.
Plus what they are planning on doing in the future is simillar to what GM is doing with the Chevrolet Volt. A fully electric car, that uses an internal combustion engine to extend the range, recharge the batteries.
Research how the Chevrolet Volt works and you'll get the idea behind Tesla's next car.

That's not the impression I got off Engadget. I got the impression that they were switching to IC completely because electric just wasn't profitable.

The Wrightspeed X1 is way nicer than the Roadster.
