Default Earth Hour 2008

Turn off your lights for an hour for Earth Hour 2008!
http://www.earthhour.org

On March 29, 2008 at 8 p.m., join millions of people around the world in making a statement about climate change by turning off your lights for Earth Hour, an event created by the World Wildlife Fund.

In one year, this has grown from an event in one city to a worldwide movement. This year, millions of people, businesses, governments, and civil organizations in nearly 200 cities worldwide will participate in Earth Hour.

The World Wildlife Fund invites everyone around the world to turn off their lights from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. in their own local time.

Join people all around the world in showing that you care about our planet and want to play a part in helping to fight climate change.

this is unbelievable. Cyclone intensity HASN'T increased in the past 120 years and plus, the earth is forever changing without the help of us humans! look at the Ice Age, Little Ice Age, Holoscene Maximum, Medival Warm Period. Did we have cars, planes, factories back then??

The facts:
The biggest co2 makers:

1. The Oceans
2. The Autumn Leaves
3. Animal Biomass (150 Giga Tonnes of co2)
3. Volcanoes
LAST 4. human technology (6.5 Giga Tonnes of co2)

if you think just turning off some lights will help the earth from changing, then you are sadly mistaken. Take a look at the global warming charts again and this time place the two lines/curves together you'll see that co2 follows tempreture. The trend is the other way round.
