Angry I'm so effing pissed

An eternity in hell can't come soon enough for this grinch!

Yale student repeatedly induces and videotapes abortions for art project

Art major Aliza Shvarts '08 wants to make a statement.

Beginning next Tuesday, Shvarts will be displaying her senior art project, a documentation of a nine-month process during which she artificially inseminated herself "as often as possible" while periodically taking abortifacient drugs to induce miscarriages. Her exhibition will feature video recordings of these forced miscarriages as well as preserved collections of the blood from the process.

The goal in creating the art exhibition, Shvarts said, was to spark conversation and debate on the relationship between art and the human body. ...

"I hope it inspires some sort of discourse," Shvarts said. "Sure, some people will be upset with the message and will not agree with it, but it's not the intention of the piece to scandalize anyone."

The "fabricators," or donors, of the sperm were not paid for their services, but Shvarts required them to periodically take tests for sexually transmitted diseases. ...

Shvarts declined to specify the number of sperm donors she used, as well as the number of times she inseminated herself.

Art major Juan Castillo '08 said that although he was intrigued by the creativity and beauty of her senior project, not everyone was as thrilled as he was by the concept and the means by which she attained the result.

"I really loved the idea of this project, but a lot other people didn't," Castillo said.
Doesn't surprise me, it is LIBERAL arts after all!
Doesn't anyone else see something wrong with this?
I can't even imagine a pro-choice would think that this is acceptable, yet somehow having abortion for fun now seems to qualify as art!

I don't have a particularly strong opinion on Roe vs Wade. I do have a firm opinion on the First Amendment, and if the First says this is okay, then this is okay. Our ability to tolerate the "offensive" is what elevates us over the depraved cultures of the world.

There is a limit to everything, at some point the offensive becomes more than unbearable. Being pro-choice is one thing, but going as far as having abortion for fun, that is totally shocking!
I shouldn't of taken this on all Liberals, and for that I apologize, I'm sure some of them would agree that this is unacceptable.

Shocking and disgusting, definitely. Though this has as much to do with "liberals" as Fred Phelps has to do with "conservatives." And while I think it's disgusting, it's not necessarily illegal. And considering my own stance on abortion, again while I think it's incredibly disgusting, I wouldn't technically consider it unethical either. The "liberal arts" comment is utterly pointless on your own part. Out of context and out of mind and you certainly know it on top of that.

O' come on, I did apologize for that, but forgot to edit it out
But you see, there is a joke in it, Arts fall under Liberal Arts, Liberals are pro abortion and this girl, supposedly, had abortion as an art project.

Yeah, har har. Though party lines aren't exactly that explicit. I know plenty of conservatives, especially more of the classical branch that haven't got a problem with plenty of things the Christian Right gets their panties in a twist over. (And aside from that, plenty of people easily filed under liberal that are very unfond of abortion~)

I'm not a Christian (as in religion) nor am I a Christian Conservative, I'm actually a Libertarian Conservative, kinda like Ron Paul.
I have no problems with a lot of things, but I have a major problem with abortion for fun (or art), I make it clear that their are conditions where I think abortion is an option and conditions where it is never an option.

I'm just glad it all ended up as a hoax, but I sure want her to pay for the mental damage she put me through!
I wonder if I have a case against her, maybe I should sue her!
She should be sentenced to a 100 hrs of community service! At least!

I'm not surprised that this is a hoax. Using drugs like this for the duration and frequency describe could very well be lethal.
