Phoenix deleted all the inactive members. I think the birthdays in the calendar were the main cause but i'm not sure...

Phoenix first deleted all the members who hadn't posted in something like 6 months, and then he also deleted all the members who had 0 posts.

The reasoning given was so that it would free up all the user names so new members could use them.

Not true at all. All the 'visitors' here are bots... KFZ has far more regulars, far more posts per minute, and far more new topics per day.

True, the majority are still bots, but it seems there are more genuine people on now than when Power did his count. At least at certain times of the day.

It's possible. But I'd say we're still nowhere near even 30 real guests at any given time.
