I'm half-kiddng about the Dreamcast. I like the PS2 better if only because of its far larger library, but the Dreamcast was indeed very very special.

PS2 had a lot of games but most of them were cookie-cutter jRPGs, crappy movie games, lack-luster ports and sequel after sequel afTER SEQUEL AFTER SEQUEL!!!

Of course the PS2 had a lot of sucky games. Any console with well over over two thousand titles is bound to have its fair share of horrible games. But you didn't have to play all of them; just the ones that interested you.

Gauntlet Legends?

Kingdom Hearts?
Ico / Shadow of the Colossus?
Timesplitters?
Tekken Tag Tournament?
There's dozens and dozens of awesome games that originated on the PS2.

And it's funny that you mention Halo 2 moments after complaining about lackluster sequels.

God of War, Timesplitters (but i can play that on Xbox) and Shadow of the Colossus (I own) I liked.

Halo 2 being lack-luster?? Sure.. the campaign didn't have a great ending but that alone can't make a game be "lack-luster". I said "Xbox wins from Halo 2 + Live" because it was a kick ass online game and Live is godly. Halo 2 alone can't save a console. Halo 2 + Live could.

I loved my GameCube at least 5 times more than i loved my PS2 so the 'Cube wins it for me. Besides, my GameCube was black

3. Ehm, ever heard of, Non-Exclusive? This game existed for Xbox and Cube as well

I must say Cube, the PS2 might had the library, making it my peoples choice, and the Box might had Halo 2 + Live, making it into my Messiah of console gaming, but Cube had Melee, which made it into my god the last gen war :P
