Megadrive and Saturn, can't decide.

Thom, if you only played PAL releases I can see why you think it sucks. But believe me there was a boat load of great Japanese exclusives worth getting the system for. The most famous probably being Radiant Silvergun.

Of all, I only own (yes I still have them) the Genesis and Game Gear. While the Genesis definitely wins it for me, the Game Gear was just totally awesome too in my case since we mostly used it in long car rides, hooked with the car adaptor (so no battery problem). In these cases, the TV reciever was just awesome too, especially since it actually had an input plug, so we hooked our little camcorder to it... while we copied some VHS movies onto the mini format for the camera. That was our trick to have movies on the go in the car in the early 1990s

Wow, the Gamegear really had that many functions? I reckon it was a lost gem.

I always wanted a Gamegear but my parents wouldn't buy one for me because they said it was a too expensive toy

That's why I voted Dreamcast that honestly was superior at it's time.

The trick to it was the battery unfortunately lasted only around 30 minutes.

The Game Gear was the PSP of its day.

More media functions, better graphics, higher price, lower battery.

A superior product outsold by a Nintendo handheld, except, the PSP has a lot more market share and support.

Game Gear was epic, I loved mine.

Genesis, but as soon as I gather all my b-day money on Saturday, the DC will be first on my list.
