Default Nintendo Advanced Video System

The NES wasn't the first thing Nintendo had in mind for the North American market. They has a primitive computer system in mind but it never made it to market. Some interesting pictures have surfaced here.

That would have been pretty sweet, but I am glad Nintendo went the direction it did, trying to make gaming go to the next level but at a price the masses could afford, instead of doing like Atari and the others and trying to make it super advanced and cost a lot or something.

And this is the main reason Power's nickname is "God".


...I would almost swear my whole video game collection that my best friend has one of these collecting dust on his shelf... but it wasn't released...

I just remembered that when the Nintendo World Store opened, Nintendo Power had an article about it including pics.
