Most of us have been there. Multiplayer. You just shot and killed the VengeSim. What do you do? He's going to come for you, there's no getting around it. He needs his revenge. You can find him and kill him, or make an attempt to hide like a chicken shit. Your buddy can't help you. He's pinned in the Felicity's bathroom facing off with the overly strong TurtleSim.

Before you can make a decision, that bastard PeaceSim punches you in the face and steals your gun. Chasing him won't do any good because your good friend the KazeSim has just arrived. He has a rocket launcher and really doesn't give a shit who dies. You're stuck in the one God-forsaken area in the level that doesn't spawn any weapons. Consequently the KazeSim goes bye bye and takes you and the PeaceSim with him.

This is the kind of insanity that runs rampant in this game. The Multiplayer is insanely brilliant. The Single Player shines too, and the missions sure are fun to fuck up intentionally simply for entertainment purposes. Sure, staying on the beaten path is fine and dandy, but who wants to always stick to the norm when they could infiltrate the DataDyne building and shoot Cassandra DeVries in the face simply because she's a stupid, hienous bitch? You think her security detail has much of a chance either?

Goldeneye 007 was an incredible game, but you can't deny the power of Perfect Dark. Show some love to the Dark!

Goldeneye's single player was superior, but PD's multiplayer was fantastic. I was more of a GE guy myself, but I do enjoy PD, just not as much.

I thought Perfect Dark was simply a superior game, but wasn't amazing to the degree Goldeneye was. It was better than Goldeneye, but since Goldeneye we got to see the release of titles like Quake 2, Half Life, and Unreal Tournament that bested it multiplayer and/or single player-wise anyway.

Perfect Dark had more multiplayer options by far, but Goldeneye definitely paved the way. Love them both!

Fuck Goldeneye, give me this on XBLA please. I'd kill kittens for this game with online multiplayer or just so I could play against the bots again. SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

You know what REALLY fuckin rocks though?

Matt Cassamassina's face is modeled on one of the heads. Anytime he gives a shitty review on IGN, you can just send him into the combat simulator and murder him over and over.
