Bomberman 64

It got close to mediocre reviews, and a lot of gamers I knew hated the 3d environments and the 3d multiplayer.

Personally, I think they're crazy. I for one actually loed it and hope to see another 3d Bomberman made. What do you think? Is 3d good or bad for Bomberman?

I remember playing that game. I also remember getting killed by some underwater submarine boss over and over and over....

That game was awesome, controls were good, graphics weren't the best, but hey. It fokking rocked.

I loved it. And finding all the costume pieces was equally fun. Getting the golden armor sucked, but it was well worth it in the end.

The game didnt get its due. The devil got his due, but Bomberman 64 didn't. What has this world come to?

Bomberman 64 is one of my favorite N64 games, and the only good attempt at bringing bomberman to 3D. If the devs could have committed to it, and really looked at what some fans complained about, they could have made 3D worked. Most of the fans that are like "the battlefields are no longer mazes, this is gay", well fine, whatever, not everybody's gonna like the same bomberman game. But by not further exploring 3D and trying to make it work, Hudson lost a great opportunity. B64 after all was a better 1st try at 3D bomberman than the original Bomberman was at, well, Bomberman. The 1st bomberman didnt even have multiplayer, WTF? Its unfathomable these days to think of a bomberman that doesn't have multiplayer.

I think if they go back to the Bomberman 64 mechanic, include both free roaming multiplayer maps and maze multiplayer maps, up the graphics a bit, make even bigger and better levels, include even more costume parts to find and secrets to discover, I'd be fucking sold.

It wasn't 3d though, it was classic style bomberman, just sucked ass classic style.
