SNES vs. Genesis - Your POV

I preferred the Genesis greatly, though I enjoyed both.

SNES. so many of the current games that people are talking about as big sellers, MGS, FF, Ninja Gaiden, etc debutted on the SNES (or at least the franchise did)

One of my favorite consoles of ALL time. If not my favorite.

Actually none of those debuted on the SNES, those were all on the NES.

I was in the super nintendo camp. It just had all the nintendo games I wanted and then got all the 3rd party titles that the genesis was getting as well(EARTHWORM JIM RULES).

But I did get a saturn before a n64 to get some sega titles. Unfortunately the saturn didnt even get a decent sonic game.

yea well, PS2 would beat the Dreamcast in a landslide poll as well...has little to do with the relative quality of either console.

I had so many games for the snes and had the mario's when they actually were good.

SNES>Mega Drive nuff' said.
