The Megadrive MADE EA with the original FIFA (which was GIMPED TO HELL on the SNES), then EA helped kill the Dreamcast, funny that.

The megadrive versions of most of the multiplatform games were better. Yes, even Street Fighter.

Sonic 1 was the game that took my love of gaming to obsessive levels. Streets of Rage 2 was one of the highlights of my gaming youth. It was beat 'em up perfection. SNES had NOTHING to compete with Streets of Rage 2.

Also, Rock 'N' Roll Racing - Most underrated game ever. For both consoles.

Also I love(d) my Sega Genesis. Still have it.

I have all the Sonics, Streets of Rage, Shinobi, Eco the Dolphin, Mortal Kombat, Vectorman, Comix Zone, etc.

SNES had some great hits too but the Genesis took on both the late NES and the SNES so it had it's run for the money. It started to get used and abused once they introduced 32X and Sega CD. And they made about 3 versions of it which was alright I guess.

Sega Genesis sold about 29-30 million units and the SNES sold about 49-50 million but I still have to love my Genesis. So Genesis it is.

I personally had a Genesis. It looked better than SNES and had Sonic.

SNES because it had FF3 <-- Only final fantasy game I like. It also had Secret of Mana which is the best RPG of all time.

Sega did have some good games though, but just couldn't keep up. I loved mortal kombat 2 for the Genesis. It just felt right.
