| Genesis rocked with Gunstar Heroes. No one ever mentions the greatness of that game.

| I had the SNES. Never had a Genesis, so I can't comment on that. But, the SNES had the best ever baseball game: Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 |

| SNES actually won, but for me, the Megadrive was king. We egenrally got better versions of the best games. FIFA, Aladdin, Street Fighter (played best on MD), and in the 2D days, Sonic > Mario. |

| Both. I liked the Genesis because the games seemed to run faster than on the SNES and because it had proper Mortal Kombat. But SNES was cool too, especially when it got Donkey Kong. That said, I never owned any of these two, I had a completely outdated NES up till I got a PlayStation in 1998 :-) hey, i was absolutely happy with it |

| I had the SNES from the very beginning and only had the Genesis long after the last games were made for it and I only had a few sports games for the system. I remember having friends over to play Super Mario World and seeing their faces in awe. What they didn't know is that I was envious and in awe of Sonic the Hedgehog and how amazingly fast the game played. The SNES didn't have the clock speed to make fast games like Sonic, but it did have better graphics and sound. Both systems were awesome, but I'd give the resounding edge to the SNES. Some of the best games EVER were made on the SNES: Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past, Final Fantasy II & III, Lufia II, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario Kart, Super Metroid, Starfox, and of course Super Mario World. The thing that the Genesis had going for it was the speed of it's animation and more violent games which parent-friendly Nintendo wouldn't allow at the time. Remember the green blood in the SNES version of Mortal Kombat? |

| Genesis, I thought it had a more diverse library. Sonic, Boogerman, vectorman, toejam and earl, phantasy star 2, gunstar heroes, etc.
