SNES, it had the really not crappy versions of stuff that was my childhood babysitter like Ninja Turtles in time and tournement fighters, it also had this power ranger game where you battle in zords which honestly wasn't that bad of a fighter and all the good mario games, Super Mario Allstars was a great collection. I played Primal Rage on it and it was pretty fun, I didn't know it like had arcade versions. Mario Kart was also good.

Meh, I have both, so I can't really choose, but they both had excellent games. I still every once in a while pull the Genesis out for some good old NHL 94 or 95 fun.

*Mods: Please add poll, SNES, Genesis, both

Back then, I had a Genesis, and I really enjoyed playing Sonic 1 and 2 on that. Plus the Aladdin and Mortal Kombat games on there kicked ass (I was a total Aladdin fan back then as well lol).

The only game that then made me regret not having a SNES was Super Mario World (that I now own on the VC ). A few years later a friend of mine lend me his SNES so I could play a few FF titles on there.

At this point, I have never regretted not owning a SNES, and even less now that I can download SNES titles on my Wii (I never liked emulators).

It's not an emulator when it's crappy sometimes.

Wait, nevermind. Rainbow, be a dear and add a poll, please?

unlike everywhere else, the dominating console here was the MegaDrive (both the Gensis and the MegaDrive were sold here, but it had been usually called "SEGA" lol). Yet, despite the surrounding context, I loved our SNES/SuperFamicom more.

That was the one area Genesis beat it in, hockey games. Making Gretzky bleed with Roenick was the sweetest thing in the world. I still do it on a regular basis. NHL 94 Genesis version is one of the best sporting titles ever released.
