SNES kicked ass af all. PERIOD. Nothin beats chrono trigger. I play my SNES more than all other consoles currently (wii, gc, etc.)

Picked the Genesis, I seem to remember having far more fun with it than I did the SNES..
Though the SNES had some games I couldn't live without.

Voting for the underdog here. *gives the finger to Nintendo*

I had the Genesis, close friend had the SNES. I certainly had no shortage of fun on my Sega Genesis (Sonic, R-Type, Thunderforce, Herzog Zwei, Altered Beast plus many more that divulged my preteen years).

luckily, I had missed the arcade, so that packed in game was my first Arcade Beast experience. Side-scrolling platformers, how we miss thee!

Perhaps Im missing something, but I dont remember Altered Beast's arcade port to the Genesis as being that bad.

Now the ports to Sega Master System and, strangely enough, NES, those were ugly, the NES version particularly.
