if you ask me what's the first game that comes in mind in the SNES generation, I'd say DK Country, it's a game that I recall from my early childhood, a I recall loving Star Wars

Chibi I did notice the worse graphics in Sonic games. Especially from 1 to 3. I was playing both maybe a few years back and it really hit me how bad 3 looked in comparison to 1.

Love the SNES, but the Megadrive was my favourite.

Treasure we're exclusive Megadrive developers back then, Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy and Alien Soldier were all bloody amazing.

The MD has many 3rd party gems, EA were good then - Desert Strike, Road Rash. There are plenty of great shooters like Gaiares, Gynoug, Panorama Cotton and the Thunder Force series.

Also many MD games have stood the test of time. Many SNES games haven't, mode 7 looks shite now. Like all Ninty consoles the SNES is eternal for it's 1st party stuff. The MD's so much more.

The Super Star Wars games are all extremely average, but the licence gives us all blinkers

Road Rash was one of my all time favourite game series. Back then, EA wasn't so gay.
