my dreamcast either doesent read disks or plays the game a little then stops and says it cant reconize the disk.
Was this a comman problem, or could it just be the game is damaged. I've only tried Chu CHU Rocket for it only I game I have up to now

I've decided, Sonic Adventure is my favourite 3D platformer.

Even with the problems it has (camera, mostly), it's still the best in the genre. How did Sega get it so wrong with the latest game?

They should just port Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 to PS360 and make it HD.

When you go to play, does it go to that desktop screen every time? I get that a lot, but I've found a way around it...

On the desktop, there are a few icons you can click on: Play; clock and a couple others.

Here are the steps, IN THIS ORDER, you need to take (doesn't work every try, but hasn't let me down in the long run):

Once game is started and you're thrown into the desktop...
Step 1 - Open DC lid, but leave game inside
Step 2 - Click the "play" icon
Step 3 - Close lid
Step 4 - Click "play game" (or whatever it says)
Step 5 - Once you've clicked "play game," you should hear the drive kick in and start spinning the disc. If not, rinse and repeat steps 1-4.
Step 6 - Enjoy

Hope this works for you!

that works to get a game started but it stills puts me back on menu screen before it gets past the first game menu. Think my dreamcast is beyond repair and for the price of them I'll look for another.
May get 2 and have one as a back up console, they seem to brake easyish

I CANNOT BELIEVE I LOST MY DREAMCAST.
I thought I had it in the basement, next to my Genesis.

They're both gone!
