| Nope. You'd gain in other areas like reliability (though you gotta pay attention to manufacturer). If you're overclocking a system, you'll need a power supply that'll provide the energy necessary at the new speed.

| Actually there is a valid reason to get a power supply with a 6 pin PCI-E connector. On some power supplies, the 12V line for the PCI-E connector is separate from the 12V line for hard drives. This allows for more power to be distributed in a more efficient and safe manner. A 4 pin molex to 6 pin PCI-E connector will often work but it isn't necessarily the best solution.
