If you can afford it, the X1950 Pro is a decent card. Good amount of performance, at a decent price ($180 I think).

I still have another question though, this time about the processor

If i get an Intel Core Duo with 2.4GHz, since its a Duo Core, will it have 2x2,4GHz which is 4,8GHz "power"?

To answer your question, the speed rating on multi-core processors is per core, so you would have two cores running at 2.4 GHz.
