Dunno, cos his cable modem went balls up, and then he got a new one but then both his routers didn't like it, so he only got back on MSN today.

The bare minimum it will run on is an X1950 Pro and a 3ghz single core, with 1gb of ram. Pyroninja did have that, and it ran, although it stuck occasionally. Oh, that was on Low, whatever resolution it gave him.
I saw what it looks like on low and I decided I'd stick to console gaming until I wanted to buy myself a graphics card that can run it at 1920x1200 on DX10 with 4AA turned on. I'm hoping the GeForce 9800s come out soon so they might be in stock by Christmas 08 to buy. I also hope they aren't over 1000 :$ Or I might actually have to get an 8800 GT 512/GTX 768/Ultra and just be satisfied with it.

In my opinion, there is a difference between being able to run it and "being able to run it."

Crysis isn't really worth buying a monster system for. It's nothing more than a graphical showcase. It got pretty mixed reviews.

Crysis is probably the only game that gets away with no AA. I turned 6x AA and it didn't look much different.

Save your money and use another game as a benchmark. COD4 runs at 60fps on my rig, everything up to max. There aren't any games out there that my rig can't run. Oblivion is probably the only one that kills it, but Oblivion is so unoptimised.
