Default Is this computer worth the cash?

AMD 64 X2 6400+ Dual Core 4GB CUSTOM PC GAMING COMPUTER - (eBay item 220187164893 end time Jan-03-08 22:30:00 PST)

I am planning on buying this computer. I wondering if it a good deal. I think its a hell of a deal. Now, what I am going to do it upgrade the HDD up too a 500g and subtract the speakers, keyboard and mouse. I can do this on the page so I have found out to do this it would only cost me $702 Instead of $699 With those things previously mentioned. It doesn't have a OS but thats not a problem as I have the XP and Vista installation disks. Of course the item ends today, but he can make one as well as having 3 still in stock. I don't think I can make one as good as this for as cheap as it is. So, do you think its a good deal and should I buy it?

Mobo is starting to get oldish, the Video card isn't that great at all, ram is only 667mhz (which is ok), Hard drive is 8mb (which is ok also), don't know who made the ram, and it doesn't come with an Operating System, and also why doesn't it say anything about the PSU?

you also need to know if the place you are buying it from is reliable.

just the stuff noticed.

Don't get an 8800 GTX unless your monitor is bigger then 24"

get the 8800 GTS 512mb G92, its cheaper and better for monitors 24" and under.

I don't remember the EXACT measurement of the screen, but I know I have my resolution at 1600x1200. Its around 24in, I do believe. When is Power666 going to reply here? I need his expert opinion.

When ever I wake up.

Generally rule of thumb, I tend to avoid ebay. Things like this that are new, in box, and claim to have a warranty aren't going to follow through in the long run. The system it self isn't that great. Shop wisely and you'd be able to configure a more powerful one for less.

Make your own.

Second hand deals are never safe, and with the long wait for Starcraft 2, there's a big chance of breaking your own PC beofre it comes.
