Bullshit. I'll quote the EULA on my copy retail copy of Leopard (page 72 of the manual, emphasis added):

Quote:
This license allows you to install, use and run one (1) copy of the Apple software on a single Apple-labeled computer at a time.
The EEE PC is not an Apple-labeled computer.

I'm not entirely sure that type of stipulation in an EULA is too terribly enforcible..

Either way, KDE > Aqua, so I dunno why buying OSX is even worthwhile.

I do feel guilt tearing me apart. I'm a Free Software zealot, believing in Freedom and fighting against proprietary software, but I'm so lusting for a Mac, I can't help it

I prefer Aqua, and on GNU/Linux or *BSD I prefer Gnome. Of course I'm talking about eye candy not usability. I know KDE is more powerful than both, but I find it too complex and not eye pleasing.

Ewww, I find Aqua to be far worse than even Window's interface... Like.. Bad beyond abysmal.

So i'm curious, what about Aqua is so good? In what way is it better/more usable? I find that it's just a lot of fucked up eye candy and otherwise just annoying..

I never said it was more usable. It just looks like nice.

The universal menu bar is pretty neat though. It makes the whole experience more streamlined and familiar.
