| It will be my first Mac. Anything I should be aware of? Are All Monitors Compatible? Is the price of getting a Mac Mini plus a good Monitor less than the price of getting a Macbook? Which way is the cheapest way for owning a Mac, that doesn't involve buying a used or stealing one? Note: The Mac if bought will be used for basic Internet access, so no real processing power is needed.

| Wait a week. Apple is busy updating there computer line up as we speak. New Mac Pro models were introduced today (8 core standard) as well as Xserve rackmount systems. The MacMini has a chance of being updated then. Not legallly.... |

| If you purchase a copy of Leopard in store there's nothing in the EULA that says you can't do it.

| I don't care about the OnBoard Graphics, I have another PC with the 7950GX2 and my brother's PC has 8500GT. I want a basic Mac for the living room, basic Internet stuff, nothing too flashy. Most of the time I wont be using it. I don't have a lot of dough to throw, so I can't go beyond the Mac Mini, maybe I could afford a Macbook if I tried. I'm not keen on waiting, patience is something I lack, I want it tomorrow. I can regret my purchase a week or two from now, but that's then.
