Seriously, though, I'm blown away by what CD Projekt has done with BioWare's Aurora Engine. Real-time combat and a unique magic system couple with an thoroughly enjoyable setting to create, in my mind, one of the most pleasant surprise of 2007. If you enjoy CRPGs, and are looking for something with a fresh fantasy setting and questionable morals, this is an excellent pick-up.

On top of that, it's easily the best game based on a book series ever made.

Its on my to get in 2008 after I get a new computer built list. The only games I plan to get before it is Crysis, Simcity Socities, and the complete Civ IV.

Agreed! Very good dame so far. The only gripe I have is the loading times. I am even contemplating a raid setup to fix this as the game would be so much better without the time it takes to enter the world after leaving a cottage.

The opening cut scenes for the game were excellent, very cinematic and dramatic.
