That was just an example though. It seems to be at the top end of sound cards... There are several cheaper ones that have Dolby Digital and DTS decoders. I was wondering if that should work. This seems like something I need to buy at a local store in case it doesn't work out for me...

If you can find a product on Newegg they have good service. Otherwise, I'd go local.

Yeah, but I've had to return stuff to them before and they have that stupid "restock" fee. I told them I seriously hope they don't "restock" that faulty product... I'm pretty upset that they wanted to charge me the restock fee even though it wasn't that I changed my mind or anything, the product didn't work so I wanted a refund. Plus you have to pay shipping back... Local is just easier for returns.
