its a little late but EVE online have released there new free game exspantion

EVE Online - a massive multiplayer online roleplaying space game - MMORPG

its huge the graphics have taken a massive overhual and the beauty of it all? if you can run em fine if you cant.... fine this game can be turned down and still look gorgeous it just depends on your rig

its a little slow for most MMO's but serousely check out the trial theres not a game out there like it... and im not kidding

heres a ship chart little outdated but gives an idea of scale.. and yes you do start as that dot of a ship, and if your lucky can make your way up to the big boys.... but that takes 2 years of real life around

I played this once, and it bored the hell out of me. There was no decent tutorial or anything.
