I use FireFox and Safari, both are great browsers. I'm waiting for FireFox 3, until then I'll be using Safari 3 more, I prefer Safari's theme over the default theme of FireFox 2.

I didn't like it one bit. Very slow render performance, maybe that'll improve but I don't care

You could just use a theme to make it look like Safari.

FF 3, have they given any indication of when?

And compared Safari to FF, which one uses the least RAM?

2 more betas and then we should expect the final stable release. Not sure when though. You can download FireFox3 Beta here:
