Default Need help.

Does anyone know where I might find an LED light that I can plug into my motherboard to act as the power light?

All I can seem to find are rope-lights, neon lights, and other fancy lights. all I need is a regular LED light.

Problem with most PC's are that they only have power lights now and not Hard Drive lights, so I switched the LED that was being used as a power light to be a hard drive light instead. Now of course the problem is that I have no power light.

Lozl at the no power light.

My best guess would be Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!.

I've checked there. As well as TigerDirect.

Edit: Also checked RadioShack. They have LED's but they have no cables to connect to motherboards, and they're obscenely expensive for just an LED light.

Ah, forgot about TigerDirect

NEVER get stuff from RadioShoop. They inflate their prices higher than a big breasted blowup doll.

Yeah, I make it a point not to get anything from RadioShack, I was simply checking to see if they even had it.

I did manage to find one, but I'm a little iffy of the source. I'd rather see if there's one somewhere else before I get one from here:

It's a standard 5V LED so why not go to any store that sells electronic components and just buy one and connect it?
Can't cost more than $0,1.

I don't know of any stores in US but if you ever decide to cross the atlantic to come and visit me I can show you to at least 5 stores the same day.

EDIT:// of course I assume you are able to solder the LED to a wire by yourself

I've got a couple of wire-looms out of old PCs. I'd be happy to shove one in an envelope and mail it you.
