First off this is like a a week old

Secondly doesn't the license agreement only state that it can only be installed on Apple hardware? Meaning that you can still install it on the windows install on your mac.

Thirdly I think this clearly shows that the software companies don't even bother to proof read license agreements any more (I think I have come across 1 person that actually bothered to read the license text on software apps the last 10-15 years).

Most EULAs are pretty generic. Except this one:

CrossOver Mac - Truth in Advertising - License Grant

More like they just copied the EULA of Safari for Mac and used it for the Windows version.

And as odd as it sounds it is not impossible to adhere to. The Intel based Macs can run Windows so effectively the only people who can run the Windows version of Safari already have the OS X version. Go figure.

It's still really stupid. Apple's support for windows has been terrible lately.

I said that too in my post but apparently chedabob has closed his ears to this possibility.

But yes I agree with you that it's most probably a case of bad proof reading.

That is a typo Apple wants more and more Windows users to use iTunes, Safari and Quicktime.

Apple always finds a way to fail somewhere.

This is the latest instance.
