AMD Phenom or AMD Athlon64 X2?

So I need to get a new PC.

I'm considering to get one of these PCs:

AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ (2x3GHz), 2GB, XFX GeForce 8600GT 540M 512MB DDR2, 500GB, DVD±R/RW

or

AMD Phenom QC9500 (4x2.2GHz) S AM2+, 2GB, Motherboard with AMD 780G+SB700 chipset, XFX GeForce 8600GT 540M 512MB DDR2, 320GB, DVD±R/RW

or is a Intel C9300 2.5GHz Core 2 Quad a lot better than those 2? worth the extra money? Which should I get? Which one is faster/better etc, And what games are this PCs able to play? I want a decent PC, nothing wow tho. But I also want to play some games on it (although I'm not a big gamer...)

Yea, I just read some reviews and it looks like its "better" than a AMD phenom one. How about Intel core 2 duo? Or Intel quad core 2? Worth the extra money?
