I actually made it pretty far in GTIII.

Also, there was this Sega racing sim that came with the original Xbox that I did well at too.

But I played a forza demo, and jesus christ how much breaking do you need?

Forza is horrible.

Gran Turismo is better in every respect.

"OOh, but Forza has t3h damage!!!1"

It also has too much breaking.

Braking, but spelled with an "e" as well.

I usually played Gran Turismo without braking(or breaking. Thank you lack of damage) and needless to say it didn't work out really well.
