As many as you want it to. It takes a lot of time to master even one instrument, and there's three of them. Plus downloadable content, and World Tour mode. Some instruments are un-masterable by some people, though (like if you can't sing, there's no way you'll ever do well on vocals, no matter how much you practice).

I think he means if you played through the career once. Just add the times of all the songs up. Then calculate how many times you might fail msierably.

Folding@home: Folding@Home Gets Auto-Shutdown, Background Tunes
Update coming soon to Folding@Home. Let's you set an auto-off timer and play background music off your hard drive.

Don't have any music stored on my hard drive, and I usually just fold when I'm not doing anything else on the PS3 at the time so it's not a feature I have any use for. At least they're adding new features to it for those that could benefit.
