And everybody loved that. The key will be the maps.

Just because you have so many people and they're your team and then you can branch into your own smaller regiments. If anything, it adds to the competition because you have to fight hard to be first.

Maybe. Of course I will buy the game and if the MP a shot, it seems awesome, but I am going very skeptical of how all the features in the game turn out. I am most looking forward to the campaign, I want to see how the story plays out.

But this is the people that brought us Ratchet and Clank Future, so I'm expecting Good Things. And it's not like the multiplayer in Resistance 1 is bad - it's actually really good, if a little on the slow-to-load side.

60 players has the potential to be very impressive. The more people in a game the more it is going to feel like an actual war, if things can be worked out properly. If they could have at least one online map where there are actual front lines established there could be some huge battles just jockeying for advantage.

SCEE have announced a new PS3 bundle for the European market (bear with us, for the moment we've only got UK pricing). While a standalone 40GB PS3 will at the moment set you back £299, for £350 you can get a "Pick N Mix" bundle, which contains 40GB PS3 and two games. And no, not two rubbish games, either! Two top-shelf first-party titles for 50 quid? Expect this bundle to go down very well when it's launched on January 18.

I definitely think it's the best deal out at the minute.

Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank and you have two of the best PS3 exclusives this year, even Warhawk, Resistance, Folklore or Singstar are good options. It's a nice selection.
