That's why I'm leaving it here and in the rumours thread at the moment.

Good to see some people still think Blu-Ray doesn't stand a chance because PS3 owners don't buy them.

If you think those numbers are impressive, wait till next week, when Ratatouille and Cars show up as Blu-ray exclusives. HD DVD sales will look like they got hit by a freight train.

On this note, Sony and Disney are doing 2 for 1s on Blu-ray at amazon

Buy One Blu-ray Disc, Get One Free

Buy One Blu-ray Disc, Get One Free

From Disney, Apocalypto and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy come highly rated as movies from me, while Sony have Casino Royale and The Fifth Element.

They seem to like doing 2 for 1 deals. Wish they'd have them in stores because I wouldn't mind a larger Blu-Ray collection.

Yeah, there's a couple I want there, but importing is a pain, they need to do them over here... I only have 300, 300 and Casino Royale. If they had more of a selection here, I would but them.

Planet Earth just came out here, so I'm going to grab it.

Haven't had the money for Planet Earth and it's like $25 cheaper in the States so I'd be stupid to buy it here. I've got 9 movies thus far. Evil Dead 2, Primeval, Saw 3, Crank, Beerfest, Stargate, Ice Age 2, Dinosaur and Happy Feet. Please remember that I am married.
